Perorin is the mascot of the Oishii Yamagata (Delicious Yamagata) campaign to promote the food produce of Yamagata prefecture. A small web page is here. His name in Japanese is ペロリン.

  1. I noticed you don’t have Goyaman from Okinawa. When I went there, Goyaman was all over the place.

    My understanding is that Goyaman fails to meet one of the criteria for inclusion on the site; namely, of being a mascot that actually represents some kind of organisation.
