Japanese Mascots

E-mori-kun is the mascot of the 32nd Japan Arboricultural Festival, to be held in Ehime prefecture in October 2008. A small web page is here. E-mori-kun’s name in Japanese is Ｅ～もりくん.

Mikapon and Shiropon are the mascots of the Machizukuri Matsuyama company, Ehime prefecture. Mikapon’s name in Japanese is みかポン. Shiropon’s name in Japanese is しろポン.

Koshiro-chan is the mascot of the Ehime Children’s Playground. Her website is here. Koshiro-chan’s name in Japanese is コシロちゃん.

Mamoru-kun is the mascot of the Ehime Prefectural Police Force. His profile can be seen here, along with those of sub-characters An-chan and Shin-chan. Mamoru-kun’s name in Japanese is まもるくん.

Yoshida-kun and Tamako-chan are the mascots of the city of Uwajima, Ehime prefecture. Their profile is here. Yoshida-kun’s name in Japanese is 吉田君. Tamako-chan’s name in Japanese is たまこちゃん.
